Types of Woolen Fabrics:

Wool Melton Fabric: Type of twill fabric that has diagonal lines on both sides. This fabric is quite thick which is used for making coats.
Jacketing Cloth:This type of fabric has very soft texture with high durability. This can be used for making jackets. It is available in multitude of colors and a different pattern which includes printed, embossed, embroidered, quilted etc.
Jacquards: This fabric contains numerous patterns which includes damasks, floral, curvy and geometrical designs. This fabric is regenerated out of 60%wool and 40%other fibres.
Herringbone: It is type of woven from either woolen or worsted yarns. It has a zigzag twill pattern which makes it more fascinating.
Tartans and plaids: It is a woven material having criss cross patterns of different colors. The arrangement of colors is identical in length and width.
Houndstooth Fabric: It is broken check pattern usually in black white color. It is also called duotone textile pattern. It is very lightweight.
Twill fabric: This fabric comes with diagonal ribs where the two sides are the same. It is usually more durable, more attractive, and most often used as the fashion side of the fabric.
Felt: This is very soft fabric which can be moulded into any shape and size. It is the fabric that is created by bonding fibers and it can be used for making hats.
Dobby: This fabric contains patterns which include stripes, squares, and diamonds as well as patterns like flowers, animals etc.
