Most of the woolen garments are machine washable but there are some woolen clothes that need special care. If the label on your woolen cloth indicates hand wash only then it is very important for you to learn how to clean wool garments carefully by hand.
Follow are the steps to wash wool garments:
- Fill the bucket with lukewarm water
- Put small amount of mild detergent in this water
- Add the Woolen garment in this lukewarm water for few hours before washing it.
- Do not rub the garment just push it down
- After washing take out the woolen garment and squeeze it
- Then again put in the another bucket which has lukewarm water
- Squeeze out the water as much as you can
- After that lay your woolen garment on the towel and leave in the fresh air to dry
