Stripes Fabric

Stripes are one of the most popular style trends this season. It can be quite an eye-catching style trend and loads of fun. As depending on the level and trend, stripes can create illusions. A look in the mirror can help you decide what looks best on your body. If artfully used, stripes add dimension and flair. Stripes can be worn by everyone, but everyone cannot wear all types of stripes. Just because they have lines in only one direction, they are easier to sew and wear rather than plaids.

Different types of stripes add variety and dimension to your closet. They come in narrow, wide, bright, soft, and muted forms. Despite of type, it should always be in sync with the wearer so as to give look truly pleasing. Since these stripes are made up of lines or bars of colors so they might divide space, set up movement and sub-divide areas.

There are two types of stripes- even or balanced and uneven or unbalanced:
  • Balanced Stripe: Balanced stripes are of equal size, generally have same color and repeat the  pattern as the  most dominant stripe from left to right.
  • Unbalanced Stripe: An unbalanced stripe differs in colors and spacing from left to right or above and below a center bar.
